ALOHA! WELCOME TO MY BLOG! FEEL FREE TO BROWSE AROUND!
I think this is a catchy topic. Mostly everyone wants it. And lots of it. I'd be lying if I said I didn't want lots of it. Who wouldn't want to be wealthy and living a glamorous life? Perhaps help out family members or friends? Of course everyone does!
So the big question is, how do you get lots of it??? Well, I don't know yet. LOL. If any of you know how LET ME KNOW! Haha. Nah but, I do know that online is where it's at nowadays. Really depends on how much money you want to make. I'll explain a little further down on how to make an extra several hundred bucks a month.
I've been "hustling" ever since my 1st job. "Get that sale, get that sale" was my mindset. I was a telemarketer... Cold calling... For a construction company... Trying to have my salesman go to their home for an estimate... For a new roof... That's hard to do!!! But, just like everything else, you keep at it, and you'll get the hang of it. It starts paying off and the commission starts coming more often than before. Once you get past this part everything is easy. Now i guess you can consider yourself a "hustler." Now, if you want to kick it up a notch, you can continue to hustle even more after your day job. This is what I do now.
I try to find items that people around me aren't able to easily obtain. What type of items you ask? Well, I first started bringing in aftermarket car parts. For car enthusiasts like me living in Hawaii it can be difficult to get good prices on these big, bulky, heavy parts for obvious reasons. We live on a rock, thousands of miles away from the continental US. Nothing is made here. We cant have USPS, UPS, or FEDEX drive to us across the ocean to deliver our items. We have to fly or ship it in. Hence, EVERYTHING IN HAWAII IS EXPENSIVE! But anyways, I used a company called www.shiptohawaii.com who supposedly is cheaper than the other shipping carriers and brought in multiple orders at once. I would also go out and find mainland shops that I could go wholesale with, so I could actually make some money. It was as easy as advertising on my car clubs forum that I will be bringing in parts and that's it. Orders started coming in.
I later moved onto selling LEDS and HIDS. (idk why its linking other words im not highlighting!) This was kind of a big seller. Everyone who modded their car wanted their interior of their car to look bright and white! I personally think it can give any car a luxurious look. So they pretty much sold themselves. Of course people could of purchased the leds and hids on their own from ebay, but at the time, ebay was known to have a lot of leds that were horribly made. No quality control at all. I'm not wholesale with them anymore, but I used to order from www.vleds.com. Even though almost 95% of the leds are made in china, vleds made sure their products were made the right way with their china vendor. So, quality wins again over cheaper pricing.
So, just by doing that, I was able to easily generate AT LEAST several extra hundreds of dollars per month. There's so much things to buy and resell. Practically anything. You just have to have ingenuity. I understand it's a lot of work driving and possibly meeting up with people. You can even try purchasing stuff in bulk and selling them on ebay or amazon. I usually try having several items that are always up for sell on ebay...
But I can tell you what not to do. NETWORK MARKETING. I've done several of them. Only one of them I actually put my time and money into and never got any return from it. It's possible to make money, but it's a different kind "hustle." More like a super duper hustle. What I don't like about it is there's always a sign up fee or they encourage you to buy a certain package to get started with. Not only do you end up buying it, but whoever you try to sign up under you will almost likely to purchase a similar package as well.
I could go on and on talking about ways to earn extra income but i'll just stop here. After i hit it BIG, ill let you guys in on how i did it! :)
It's also very helpful to listen/read motivational speakers to change your mindset on things. Jim Rohn is who I personally listen to and always opens up my eyes to things.
